About the role

You will provide personal and administrative support to the CEO while supporting secretarial processes across AETHON. You will help keep information, documents, recurring administrative activities and communications organized, while also supporting the company’s marketing activities. What you will do

  • Support the CEO with travel, appointments, personal errands and practical requests.
  • Run administrative processes, internal communications and recurring tasks.
  • Maintain digital files, templates, contracts and document signatures.
  • Support accounting workflows, invoices, expenses, subscriptions and the external accountant.
  • Support employee onboarding/offboarding and related documentation.

What you will bring

About the role

We are looking for someone who will introduce the company to the B2B market and commercial projects — and stay close to the clients they bring in. You open the door and then keep it open. You will approach new clients — through phone outreach, networking, industry events and referrals — but the job does not end with the first sale. You build the relationship, understand how the client operates and grow the account over time. The role covers two distinct sales cycles: stable, recurring IT services and bespoke artificial intelligence and automation projects.

What you will do

  • Introduce the company to new corporate clients and start conversations where we are not yet known: phone outreach, networking, industry events and referrals.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities across commercial projects: IT services, infrastructure and cloud, cybersecurity, hardware, as well as artificial intelligence and process optimisation projects.
  • Conduct needs discovery, prepare proposals together with the technical teams and ensure that the scope being sold is the scope that is ultimately delivered.
  • Develop the accounts you bring in: more services, more users and follow-on projects.
  • Maintain an active relationship with the existing client base and identify new needs.
  • Act as the client’s commercial point of contact and as the escalation point when something affects the relationship.
  • Maintain the CRM consistently: pipeline, contacts, history, next steps and revenue forecasting.

What you will bring

  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales within IT or technology, with experience both in acquiring new clients and managing them over the long term.
  • Confidence in initial outreach: phone prospecting, networking and leveraging referrals, without relying on ready-made leads.
  • Understanding of the managed services model: per-user subscriptions, plan tiers, SLAs, what is included in the monthly service and what is billed as a separate project.
  • Ability to comfortably discuss cloud and Microsoft 365, networks, endpoint security and backup in terms of business value — without needing to be an engineer.
  • Experience in consultative / solution selling: needs analysis, quantifying value and building proposals together with a technical team.
  • University or technical higher education degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing or a related field.
  • Excellent Greek and very good English.
  • Driving licence and availability for client visits within Attica.

What we consider a plus

  • Experience in an MSP or a company with recurring revenue.
  • Experience selling cybersecurity solutions or compliance projects (GDPR, NIS2).
  • Experience promoting hardware — servers, networking equipment and endpoints.
  • Ability to recognise where a process can be automated or supported by AI and communicate the opportunity effectively to the technical team.
  • Experience with the public sector and public bodies: tenders, ESIDIS and funded programmes.
  • Knowledge of our markets: transport, logistics, smart cities and energy.

About the role

We are currently looking for a Systems Integrator / Lead Tech on behalf of a trusted partner of AETHON Engineering.

The role focuses on the hands-on management and support of Microsoft environments, network infrastructure, virtualization, backups, and day-to-day technical operations. We are looking for a practical, reliable, and solution-driven professional who can keep systems stable, resolve issues efficiently, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the IT environment.

What you will do

  • Manage and support Microsoft systems, services, and infrastructure;
  • Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy environments;
  • Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID / Azure AD, users, access rights, and related cloud services;
  • Work with virtual machines and virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V;
  • Monitor systems, handle alerts, investigate issues, and resolve technical incidents;
  • Support backup, restore testing, and basic disaster recovery procedures;
  • Troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, VPNs, routing, and connectivity issues;
  • Support migrations, upgrades, integrations, and infrastructure improvement projects;
  • Document configurations, changes, incidents, technical decisions, and operational procedures;

What you will bring

  • Experience in systems administration, network administration, IT support, systems integration, or a similar technical role;

]]> Dealing with the term Smart City is trickier than one might think. A smart city must be inclusive, digitally empowered, interconnected and interoperable, which is a common theme for anything “smart”. However, a city has so many components that are so diverse and different to each other that makes this term, “Smart Cities” so elusive. We have all seen many cities where one aspect is smart, e.g., traffic lights, and another is truly not so smart, e.g., waste collection. In other words, creating a Smart City is about bridging heterogeneous aspects to achieve a singular thing: automation.

Conceptualizing automation for a city, is a hobby of mine and of everybody I know; we are all so happy to get into a tiring activity with a public office and then whining and proposing to our friends how it could have been automated, especially “in our times”. Standing however from the city perspective, as an engineer, I understand how complex this process is. So many data flows, requirements, opinions and needs must be aligned to deliver a Smart City.

We should always start with a concept, and for AETHON and our design team, this concept is Industry 5.0. The fifth (point 0) industrial revolution discusses components in a process that are not only cyber-connected but automated. Machines handle repetitive and mundane tasks while humans intervene when machines cannot complete a task. This collaboration between human and machine is co-robotics or human-in-the-loop, and while the two terms are not the same, they represent one common theme, that we need to define how people handle and manage the automation.

A Smart City needs to be just that, a concept for human interaction with smart systems that increase safety and efficiency of the city. These concepts are carefully handled by AETHON Engineering to achieve sustainability for cities, regions and neighborhoods, providing new paradigms in transport, energy and logistics.

We always talk about users but chatbots are not made for users, they are made for humans. It is a new medium and one that can only be extended with new Virtual Reality or Machine Learning breakthroughs. We are definitely, as a technological society, becoming better at creating, deploying and using chatbots. It is time for the next step.

It is time to utlize chatbots in all matters related with textual data and documents. However, currently, chatbots are hidden behind exorbitant costs for development and setup. As Large Language Models’ usage costs reduce, the same must also apply for chatbots. We envision a future with no more broken UIs and no more screens where data must be inserted in carefully designed containers and upload fields. This means that we go beyond actual development of chatbots into automated deployment pipelines.

In more plain words; use a chatbot to create new chatbots at a fraction of the time and a fraction of the costs. This is something that our customers are currently enjoying. They are creating chatbots on the fly with their data. Customers keep control of their data and the way their chatbot operates. We are there for any support they need, any customization and continuously improving it. Welcome to the new era!
