About the role
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales Associate to drive the growth of our business by engaging potential clients in Greece and Europe.
What you will do
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through networking, cold calling and leveraging existing relationships.
- Communicate regularly with existing clients to understand evolving needs and strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Introduce AETHON’s services, conduct discovery conversations and build rapport with potential clients.
- Accurately log all interactions and updates in the CRM while monitoring lead progress throughout the sales funnel and follow up with prospects as needed.
- Support the creation and curation of commercial offers, proposals and service presentations in collaboration with the team.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proposed solutions align with client needs.
- Stay informed on market trends, client developments, and AETHON’s evolving service portfolio to add value in client conversations.
- Represent AETHON at business forums, industry events and client meetings.
What you will bring
- Minimum 2 years in sales, business development, or partnership management, with a proven track record of closing deals and driving revenue.
- Understanding of the startup ecosystem and business development practices;
- Strong ability to engage with various stakeholders, including C-level executives, entrepreneurs and potential clients;
- Proven ability to negotiate deals, create value propositions and build long-lasting relationships;
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used in the sales and startup ecosystems (e.g., CRM software, PowerPoint, LinkedIn);
- Ability to research market trends and assess business opportunities.
- Work cooperatively with others to achieve goals.
What we consider a plus
- MBA or a related business qualification;
- Experience in working with or within a startup incubator/accelerator;
- Familiarity with EU-funded programs and innovation funding schemes;
- Familiarity with EIT Urban Mobility framework.
