We are currently looking for an equally forward-thinking Project Acquisition Associate, that will undertake project acquisition tasks of the company (grant opportunities and strategic partnership collaboration in the EU research and innovation industries) and will support the development of innovative proposals/projects.
Your goals
- Design, develop and submit proposals for European R&D calls;
- Create, monitor and manage groups of experts working jointly for the development of proposals;
- Prepare and oversee the entire proposal submission process;
- Attend meetings and identify opportunities for future proposals/projects;
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and present ideas and concepts to potential partners;
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that highly specialized topics are documented in a comprehensive, professional and credible manner;
- Convert innovative ideas into clear, accurate and concise documentation, ensuring clarity and maintaining consistency;
- Create content, edit and revise proposals, incorporate feedback;
- Prioritize writing responsibilities to meet deadlines;
- Establish and develop connections with stakeholders and partners in order to expand the company’s network.
What is required for the position
- University level degree (or higher education institute) in Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology or relevant field of study;
- Minimum 2 years in a position of Project Management or a position relevant to your field of study;
- Well-developed organizational skills, team management skills and ability to motivate and enable teams to meet deadlines, resilience, responsible and quality conscious working;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent knowledge and usage of the English language;
- Ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics, keen eye for detail, problem solving mentality and effectiveness in negotiations and conflict resolution;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Able to work with minimum supervision both independently and as part of a team.
What is considered a plus
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology or relevant field of study;
- 2-3 years proven work experience in Proposals Development for H2020 and HORIZON Europe and Projects Acquisition;
- PMP, PRINCE2 or other relevant Project Management certification;
- Knowledge of designing/implementing or working under Agile project management schemes.
