That’s why we stepped up as a key partner in NOUS, one of the most ambitious Horizon Europe projects ever launched to build a secure, ethical, and high-performance European Cloud. Not just for today but for the next generation.
The NOUS Project: Europe’s Digital Reset
At its core, NOUS aligns with and complements existing initiatives such as GAIA-X, European Alliance for Industrial Data and Edge, and European Data Spaces.
It’s a bold new vision:
– A federated cloud architecture designed for European industry and science
– Interoperable with HPC, quantum computing, AI, and edge devices
– Built on trust, transparency, and open standards
– Fully aligned with the EU Data Strategy, GDPR, and Ethics Guidelines for Trustworthy AI.
Aethon’s Role: Turning Vision into Impact
At Aethon, we’re building the architecture.
In detail, we’re:
– Leading the development of an auto-standardisation tool to harmonize data across mobility, energy, and Green Deal domains
– Co-creating a digital collaboration platform, promoting knowledge-sharing across sectors
– Accelerating interoperability across data spaces, so that data can move freely and securely within the EU
This is innovation grounded in purpose and built for Europe.
